A Dream Come True part II
i always too lazy to write again...kekekeke
i'll continue my last post
about my trip..my first overseas trip and Alhamdulillah that was Mecca and Madinah
after that dramas, finally we flew with Emirates, the second flight
i never knew foreign airlines before, but i think Emirates was good
facilities and services...include meals
we got more than enough meals along the flight
but,..i'm Indonesian, i'm Javanese and not really get used with western foods
so...there is some foods that seemed so strange for me -both the look and the taste :))
maybe that's what we called with "kampungan"...kekekeke
so we arrived in Dubai early morning,..after some immigration stuff we dropped into the hotel
ah...there is a funny thing when i was at the immigration counter,..the staff!!
i talk to him in english,..but, when he knew that i'm Indonesian he just said :
"sudaaah"
and still in my surprised face,..he continued with:
"capeeek deeeeeeeh"
i do nothing but laugh...kakakakakakakakaka
and he seemed so proud with what he said...pheuwww...
Dubai,.there's few words in my brain about this country
luxurious
great developed
hitech
rich
but..
a little bit arrogant
too western
quiet
yeah...quiet
there's many big roads,but no car passed
rarely...almost none
compared with Malang? Jakarta?
hahahaha....they will got a big shock when they know Jakarta's traffic, i guess
and although it include in middle east countries, which most of them are moslem countries..but not this country
even it close to secular
for example when i asked the hotel staffs where i could find a mosque because men in my groups wanna go for Friday prayers
they didn't know,..and just offfer me prayer room..a musholla not a mosque
an ironic :D
the hotel was good, i got double bed and i fall asleep for a while before lunch...aaaah...so tired already
the food at the hotel,..western food of course
and once again...i said in my mind "what kind of food is this??"...hahahaha...all i need is rice, but i couldn't find it :))
we checked out after lunch...going to the airport went to Jeddah :)
